Carmella Gray-Cosgrove

March- April 2020

EE is excited to announce that in March-April 2020, we will be hosting Carmella Gray-Cosgrove as the inaugural Riddle Fence Writer In Residence, in partnership with Riddle Fence and Lawnya Vawnya!
Carmella’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in Prism, Riddle Fence, Broken Pencil online, the Antigonish Review, Freefall and an anthology called “Hard Ticket.” She is currently working on a collection of short stories exploring geography, poverty, race and finding a good life in the rubble. She holds a BA in English Literature from UBC and an MA in Geography from MUN. Carmella grew up in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver and now lives in St. John’s with her partner and their very cute kid.

All of this is made possible thanks to our generous core operating sponsors, including Canada Council for the Arts, ArtsNL, The City of St. John’s, and The Cultural Economic Development Program.
