HOLD FAST is a non-profit arts festival held in St. John’s, NL/Ktaqmkuk focused on providing free, accessible opportunities for community to create, see, and engage with local art. The festival runs August 19-24, ending with our annual Art Crawl which takes place primarily on the Water Street Pedestrian Mall.
We are on the lookout for some helping hands to support our festival this year! Whether you’re an expert installer/de-installer, are handy with a camera, have a car to run errands, or generally just enjoy community & are happy to be involved, we would love to hear from you!
Sign up through this Google Form by Monday, August 11th to make sure you get a t-shirt!
Volunteers will be asked to take part in a Volunteer Orientation at Eastern Edge (72 Harbour Drive) the evening of August 14th from 6pm to 8pm. Here, you’ll learn all there is to know about HOLD FAST, make friends, have some snacks, and screenprint your own hot HF merch!
Oh, by the way – did you know that when you work 5 volunteer hours in a single calendar year with Eastern Edge/HOLD FAST, you are eligible for a FREE Eastern Edge membership?!
