Contemplating Queer Space Through Textile Collage

2 hours (30-minute artist talk followed by 90-minute making session)

On October 11th from 6-8pm, join us for a mini artist talk led by artist in residence, Renée Brazeau, followed by a casual hands-on making session!

The artist will start by presenting and speaking about the body of work they have been creating during their residency at Eastern Edge. Folks will then be invited to participate in a casual making session where they will be able to make their own textile creation contemplating queer space. Feel free to join for some or all of the session! 🙂

Materials such as fabric scraps, sewing needles, thread, and glue will be provided. Participants are also welcome to bring their own materials and/or personal projects if desired. 

There is no registration necessary—come one, come all!
