Both/And: a photo journey – The Journey Project

We are happy to announce an upcoming pop-up exhibition in Eastern Edge’s Main Gallery: Both/And, a Photovoice Exhibit by Survivors of Sexual Violence & Intimate Partner Violence, presented by The Journey Project in partnership with Eastern Edge. This touring exhibition will visit Grand Falls-Windsor, Lab West, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, St. John’s (here at EE!), Corner Brook, and Gander.
The exhibition will be up from September 17th – 20th, 2025, in Eastern Edge’s Main Gallery! The exhibit will feature incredible photographs submitted by survivors of sexual violence and intimate partner violence from across Newfoundland and Labrador that express each participant’s own unique journey as a survivor, through a visually creative medium. The Journey Project invites all survivors and the community to come together for these incredible exhibits!
The Journey Project would like to thank their community partners and local galleries who will be hosting our exhibit, including End Sexual Violence NL, Labrador West Status of Women, Labrador Friendship Centre, Status of Women Central, the Arts & Culture Centers in Grand Falls-Windsor and Gander, Eastern Edge Gallery, and the Rotary Arts Centre. The exhibit is available for viewing during each locations business hours! The Journey Project also extends their deepest gratitude to all survivors who shared their creativity and stories with us.
