Artist Talk with FARR AiR Kevin Melanson

Join us on Friday, April 16th at 7:30 pm on Zoom for a casual chat with FARR artist in residence Kevin Melanson. Kevin will be discussing some of his past and present work, and his ideas moving forward!

“I come from a long line of quilters, knitters, crocheters, etc. My maternal grandmother was trained in her youth in an assortment of textile-based media as were my maternal aunts, my female cousins, and my mother. At some point in my life I realized that I had grown up as a part of this matrilineal passing of knowledge, which I was not necessarily meant to be a part of, since I was a boy.”
