Join Newfoundland & Labrador’s newly formed BIPOC Creators Collective for a BIPOC-lead Writers Slam on Friday, February 26th at 7 PM via Zoom.

Let’s gather and celebrate BIPOC voices! Along with readings from local writer Xaiver Campbell, local BIPOC community members are invited to read their work, poetry, song lyrics, articles or whatever you’d like.

Writer Xaiver Campbell is a Jamaican who has made Newfoundland his home. His love for both islands is reflected in his writing. Much of Xaiver’s writing deals with sexuality, race, class and religion. Xaiver’s work is published in the Malahat Review, Riddlefence (upcoming issue), “Us, Now” (Breakwater Books).
