Creative Youth and Arts Industry Mixer
On December 6th, Eastern Edge and the Association for New Canadians hosted a Creative Youth & Arts Industry Mixer aimed at generating cross-cultural connections and creating networking opportunities. The event brought together peers, industry professionals, and organizations that support youth and newcomer arts.
The event featured short presentations by Eastern Edge and the Association for New Canadians on their ongoing equity and anti-racism initiatives, and live music by local artist Humberto Piccoli. It took place within the exhibition “The stories on our walls” by First Light, hosted as part of Spirit Song Festival, which includes interactive art-making activities which participants could add to during the event.
