Join artist Luanne Dominix for a discussion about her exhibition With Quiet Hands, part of her ongoing exploration of Newfoundland foodways and the cultural meanings of consumption. Drawing from her experience at a local farm, Dominix reflects on the intimacy, labour, and reverence embedded in acts of butchery and preparation. Through painting, she reflects on the quiet acts of care and respect that shape our relationship to food and place.
