Eastern Edge is hiring two project co-coordinators for an upcoming special project titled Arts for Equity. This project, supported by the Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Fund, will involve travelling throughout NL to conduct paid consultations with artists from historically marginalized backgrounds, and curating a series of free public events aimed at reducing barriers to participation in the arts and celebrating the work of BIPOC artists in our province! We are looking to hire two coordinators who will work collaboratively to develop and execute this project.
We are looking for applicants who:
- Self-identify as belonging to an equity-seeking group, and/or have an interest in advancing equity and social justice within the arts sector.
- Have at least one year of experience working or volunteering in an arts organization, artist-run centre, a not-for-profit, or a creative environment.
- Are enthusiastic about fostering and supporting artists at all stages of their careers.
This position will be 29 weeks long, running from Sept 17, to March 31, 2026. The employees will work 30 hours a week at $24/hour. The deadline to apply is September 6th, 2025, and interviews will take place on September 9th and 10th 2025. Click here to read the full job description.
