Scroll down for the recording of this event.

Mainframe AiR Michael Lucenkiw will be hosting an artist talk on February 23rd, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm, in our studio space!

Throughout his residency, Michael has been exploring the capacity of augmented reality as an interactive, location specific storytelling format by taking advantage of the ability for augmented reality to access a phone’s GPS and spatial orientation.

Michael is an interdisciplinary designer, artist and researcher primarily investigating how citizen science, tinkering, hacking and critical making can be used to create stronger relationships with our environment. His work challenges western- normative scientific investigation methods and is a call to action that brings visibility to under-represented entities, living and nonliving.

This event is free to attend, and no registration is necessary. Drop in to learn more about Michael and his work!
