New floors thanks to the Paint Shop!
As many of out know, the floors of Eastern Edge have certainly been through it. Over the past few decades it’s been carpet, cement, metal painted, scratched, scuffed, taped, stained, and probably anything else you can think of. But THIS is something new!
The incredible folks at the Paint Shop contacted us last month and hooked us up with a brand new metallic epoxy resin pour, all completely donated! Their team has been working hard all last week to make this floor perfect, shiny, new, and resistant to the endless wear and tear that us artists put it through. We are in love with the results, and we cannot thank you enough! Partnerships and supporters like The Paint Shop are absolutely invaluable in keeping non-profit organizations and artist-run centres up and running to support our community. Sometimes we even get a much-needed facelift!
