Pop-Up Film Screening with the Nickel Film Festival
Join Eastern Edge and The Nickel Independent Film Festival for a pop-up film screening event!
The Nickel will be screening a selection of films made by local makers for past film challenges. Eastern Edge will be screening films currently on display as a part of the exhibition Under New Management: Video Rental Store.
Under New Management: Video Rental Store, curated by Su-Ying Lee and Suzanne Carte, is an exhibition that operates similar to a video rental store, however all available titles are works by artists. Visitors to the gallery have the option to provide non-monetary payment to the artists (an object, textual feedback, etc) in exchange for the video rental. Or folks can watch the videos in the gallery!
For ONE NIGHT ONLY Eastern Edge will be screening a selection of these films, alongside selected Nickel films.
This event is FREE and open to the public. Visitors must show vaccination documents at the door. Masks are mandatory.
