Why become an Eastern Edge sponsor?
Established in 1984, Eastern Edge (EE) is a not-for-profit artist-run centre and registered charity located in St. John’s, Ktaqmkuk (Newfoundland and Labrador). Eastern Edge was the first artist-run center established in the province and remains one of only a handful of artist-run spaces in the province to this day. Any contributions to our centre allow us to present free and accessible arts programming year-round, and support local artists on their paths to success.

Our artist-run centre unites people from all walks of life through art and creativity. Through lasting, collaborative relationships, you can help us keep our Gallery, Studio, HOLD FAST festival, workshops, and art education entirely free and open to the public. Your contribution will foster growth and resilience in the arts sector.
Energizing Our Economy
Our year-round exhibitions, artist residency program and our all-ages summer festival, HOLD FAST are economic generators. Gallery and festival programming attract a wide range of visitors, enlivening the downtown core. Support for Eastern Edge also puts money directly into the pockets of artists in our province. Art and art experiences are sought after and have a lasting impact on visitors and locals alike. By increasing the visibility of the arts in downtown St. John’s we are having a positive impact on locally owned businesses and tourism in the region.

How to Sponsor Eastern Edge?
We have a number of sponsorship tiers available, as outlined in our Sponsorship Package – ranging from $100 donations to support free community programming, to $5000 to sponsor a full artist residency. We are also more than happy to discuss custom sponsorship arrangements. In exchange for your support, we are able to offer either charitable receipts or a combination of public promotions of your name or business.
