We’re hiring, summer staff 2026!
Are you a creative person looking to learn more about artist-run centres, art installation, and/or art festivals? Eastern Edge is looking for three enthusiastic creatives to join our team for Summer 2026!
We are currently hiring a HOLD FAST Festival Coordinator, a Festival Assistant, and a Gallery Assistant.
The HOLD FAST Festival Coordinator position will be 16 weeks long, running from May 26 to September 12th, 2026. This employee will work 30 hours a week and be paid at a rate of $23/hr. This position is open to anyone and has no age or citizenship requirements. Interviews for this position will take place the week of May 19-22, 2026.
The Gallery Assistant and Festival Assistant positions are both 30 hours a week for 9 weeks, and will run from June 17 to August 15, 2025, paid at $19/hour. These are Canada Summer Jobs positions, and therefore require participants to be between the ages of 15 and 30, and a Canadian Citizen. Interviews for these positions will take place the week of May 19 – 22, 2026.
